Can you recommend a printer that prints high-quality text and graphics?

The HP Desktop 5940 inkjet printer offers great printing speed and quality print output for text and graphics on plain printer paper. It has a tray capacity of 100 pages input and 50 pages for output. You can replace the black ink cartridges with photo ink cartridges for six-color photo printing, but it doesn't have the best quality for photo prints. There are banding issues on glossy prints and lacks a media card slot, but you can still print directly from a digital camera. Despite the minor drawbacks, this model is an all-around solid all-purpose inkjet printer you can find for less than $100.
