There are two causes for your printer to get a low ink error when your cartridge is full:
Printer Memory
Your printer may not recognize your cartridge's correct ink level because it still contains the ink level of your previous ink cartridge.
The first thing you should try is pressing OK/Cancel/Dismiss/Stop/Resume/etc. on your printer to simply continue printing. You can also follow these steps.
Internal Cartridge Electrical Damage
If you are still getting a low ink error after trying this, even after you've replaced your cartridge, there may be internal electrical damage to the cartridge. There is typically no error for this issue, so your printer will typically just indicate the ink is low.
However, if you already replaced your cartridge and tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, the cartridge may be defective. Check the cartridge for damage or missing parts. If you find any of these problems or even if you don't, you will want to return the new cartridge where you purchased it from and replace it with a new one. If you are using a refill kit to refill your cartridges, it's important to note that you will, eventually, need to replace the cartridges, as they will wear over time causing the same ink refill error.
